Team news and weekend update from RBO
Greetings race fans and supporters!! Lots of fun news to share so let's jump right into the action! Last week found our team competing at Red Bluff Outlaws for back-to-back race nights. On night one Brogan qualified 20th of 27 entrants for the night...because of poor qualifying he would have his work cut out for him but as we say...it was no hill for a climber! Brogan started and finished in the 5th position of heat race number four which gave him a starting position of 10th in the B main. He patiently worked his way through the field and at the end of the race had passed six other karts to find himself finishing in 4th position gaining a transfer spot to the A main. Tagging the tail of the A main in the 16th starting position Brogan once again showed great patience to avoid the chaos that ensued on the track. In addition to that, Carsen, Max and the boys were forced to spring into action when Brogan was unable to avoid a late race spin resulting in a bent left front spindle. The boys had him in and out of the hot pits in less than sixty seconds to once again tag the tail end of the field. Some well-timed passes and quick reflexes allowed Brogan to pick up a couple of spots and finish in the 7th position in the A main event for the evening!
Night 2 at RBO found Brogan improving on his qualifying speed to put him in much better shape heading into the evening. After an 8th place qualifying effort, he found himself starting 3rd in the fourth heat race of the night. He had a good start but was unable to hold that position and finished in 4th position. That finished correlated into a 3rd starting position in the B main which is also where he would finish allowing him the 15th starting position in the A main. Once again, Brogan showed great patience and along with some very well-timed passes found himself in the 5th position for the A main for the evening. The race ended with Brogan trading slide jobs with the 4th position kart missing out on a 4th place finish by mere inches! This weekend will find us once again at RBO for points race #6 on the year. In addition to that, the entire team has been busy working to make the entire Brogan Carder Racing experience one that you will enjoy following for years to come! Carsen, Max and Beau continue to work on the kart to ensure that Brogan has the best possible experience every time he hits the track.
